Sri Lanka’s nextvoices start here
Digital Turtles designs and runs training programmes for young journalists, creators and technologists in Sri Lanka. Government and embassy partners fund the programmes, and we run each one from recruitment to the final showcase.

The first accelerator in Sri Lanka built for content creators. Young people from every province receive training, mentorship and a USD 200 grant.

Partner with us
Commission a programme
Governments, embassies, foundations and NGOs ask Digital Turtles to design, recruit, teach and report on training programmes. We handle the application campaign, the selection process, the curriculum, the venue, the mentors and the final report.

Questions about the programmes
Who is eligible to apply?
Most programmes accept applicants aged 18 to 35 who commit to every session and have access to a laptop. Each programme lists its own criteria.
Are the programmes free?
[CONFIRM: free of charge or fees]. Creator Incubator also gives selected creators a USD 200 grant.
How do you select participants?
Applicants complete an assessment, and our team reviews skills, work samples, creative background and motivation. A shortlist joins a final-stage call.
Where do the programmes take place?
At the American Center Colombo, in Colombo and Jaffna, and in Kandy and Matara, depending on the programme.
How do I apply?
